Who we are

Retail Buyer Profits is the seller and operator of the RBP Calculator and the RBP Course, and is the data controller responsible for the personal information described on this page. You can reach us at support@rbpcalculator.com.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address, name if you provide it, and an encrypted password (we never see your password).
• Property analyses — the addresses, prices, comps, condition choices, expenses, notes, and profit goals you save.
• Usage activity — basic events such as opening the calculator, running a calculation, or saving a property, so we can improve the tool.
• Support messages — what you send us plus technical details (page address, browser, error text) you choose to include.

How we use it

We use your information to run your account, save and display your properties, calculate results, answer support requests, prevent spam and abuse, and understand which features members use most. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your saved property data for advertising.

Our legal basis

• Performance of a contract — creating and running your account, saving your properties, providing RBP Pro and course access, and completing purchases.
• Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing spam and fraud, answering support requests, and improving features based on aggregate usage.
• Consent — marketing or drip emails you opt into, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
• Legal obligation — tax, invoicing, and accounting records connected to purchases.

Where it is stored

Your account and saved properties live in a managed cloud database with access rules that limit each record to the member who created it. Administrators of Retail Buyer Profits can view account-level activity totals and support messages in order to run the service. Some settings — such as light or dark mode and your in-progress draft — are stored only in your own browser.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the following categories of recipients:

• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record for the sale of RBP Pro and the RBP Course. Paddle handles checkout, payments, subscription management, invoicing, sales tax compliance, and refunds, and receives your name, email address, billing and payment details. Paddle processes this data under its own privacy notice. We never see or store your full card details.
• Service providers — hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, and email marketing tools that act on our instructions.
• Address suggestions — a public map service that receives only the characters you type into the address box.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers, and authorities where we are required by law.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, per-record access rules, and limited administrative access — to protect your information.

Cookies and similar storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember this device if you ask us to, save your theme and profit goal, and protect forms from spam. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your account and saved properties until you delete them or ask us to close your account. You can delete individual properties at any time from My Properties. To have your account and its data removed, email support@rbpcalculator.com from the address on your account.

Your choices

You can view and edit your saved information at any time, change your password, turn off “remember this device”, update your preferences, or request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Children

The calculator is meant for real estate professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
